NAMM 2017 Update: A Cool New Yamaha Disklavier App
Yamaha Disklavier will soon have a new app that lets users record video and piano playback wirelessly using an iPad or iPhone...
At the massive Yamaha pavilion at NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants), we had a chance to check out all the latest offerings in pianos, digital pianos, and hybrid instruments. For the Yamaha Enspire, their flagship Disklavier piano, we discovered a cool new app that will let you record a video of your playing and have the piano play back your playing synchronized with the video wirelessly and easily! How cool is that? This would be great for piano lovers to share their performances, teachers to record their students and give them powerful feedback, or for schools looking for an easy way to accept student submissions.
Rich gives a quick demo of this app for the Enspire, which is currently in beta and planned to be available to the public sometime in the spring.
