The City of Philadelphia honors Cunningham Piano Company
Two weeks after The City Council of Philadelphia passed a resolution praising Cunningham Piano Company for their accomplishments, longevity, and for being a city landmark, Co-Owner Tim Oliver accepted those accolades on Thursday December 4th at City Hall.
The resolution praises our company for continuing "the tradition of its founder with outstanding craftsmanship".
It goes on to note "Cunningham's workmanship and extraordinary technical expertise caught the eye of The Science Channel's program How It's Made, which is airing two shows on piano manufacturing and reconstruction."We were humbled and surprised to be chosen for this honor. Tim Oliver also thanked the Council for helping to keep music and the arts strong in Philadelphia. To read more, visit NEWSWORKS.
